"Nothing is more sacred as the bond between a horse and a girl. No other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on, because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, and the very existence dies also."
- Stephanie M Thorn
The day he entered my life was the day I started living and loving ..
At the -EAO- El Zahraa auction was our first hello .. And from that day on everything had changed in my life and myself.
He started teaching me everything about horses, everything about life, and living. He was a naughty boy, was aggressive sometimes, but he was always my baby boy, my baby hero.
He raced for me, won for me, and sometimes lost for me. It was his way to teach me and to love me. We were always together. I was always there . He made me who I am after all .
It was GOD’s best way to make me a better person. It was through this great stallion who was not pretty, but he was mine, my own first Arabian stallion.
He died so young, so quickly, and a part of me died with him. His mission in life with me, made me able to stand up again. So I did .
Haifa was my way out, my reason to keep on his memory, and to live with her my dreams.
I could never forget my baby boy for he will always be in my mind, heart and life reminding me of who I am when I lost the road.
He was buried on the 24th of September 2006 at the EAO. Every year I will visit him to tell him what is going on and to remember him with tears and smiles that will last forever, I miss him.
The story of Beloved Shaalan at Straight Egyptians site:
I will never let you fall!
I'll stand up with you forever!
I'll be there for you through it all,
Even if saving you sends me to heaven! *
